PRESS RELEASE
On Saturday, November 19, at approximately 8:50 pm, Wilmington Police Responded to a 911 call regarding an armed robbery at the Route 38 Smoke Shop located at 474 Main Street. It was reported that the male suspect was armed with a handgun. The suspect had fled the scene prior to the arrival of Officers. A Tewksbury Police K-9 responded to the scene, but was unsuccessful in locating the suspect.
The male party was described as approximately 5’10 tall wearing all black clothing as well as a mask. It is believed that he fled in a newer-model gray Toyota RAV4.
There are no additional details to be released at this time.
