A 51 year old Wilmington woman found herself in handcuffs yesterday after being arrested for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor. At 3:25 pm, the Wilmington Police Department received 911 calls about a motor vehicle crash in the parking lot of Ristuccia Arena located at 190 Main Street. At the time, the parking lot was full with student athletes, parents, and coaching staff boarding buses to depart for a junior varsity hockey game. After an investigation at the scene, it was determined that Jacqueline Hartzell, struck several parked vehicles as she drove through the parking lot. No injuries were reported at the scene. Ms. Hartzell was arrested and charged with Operating Under the Influence – 3rd Offense and Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle. She will be arraigned at Woburn District Court today.
